“As I walk through the forest, my soul is renewed, my breathing slows and my creativity is ignited. The texture of the tree bark calls to me. As I look at the twists and bends of the tree trunks, my imagination fills with figures and faces. Using found bark and branches as my canvas, with clay and paint as my medium, I create these sculptures. These are my poems to the trees.”
